Rattlesnake Hare Scrambles
October 1 and 2 2011

 VCHSS October 2nd and 3rd, 2010

Mission Statement

The goal of the Rattlesnake is to build a course with as much diversity as physically possible.
To provide a trail system with all elements of any race you have been too all rolled into one, with no dominant element. We strive to provide a course that would be hard to label. Is it tight? Is it open?
We totally feel that one bike should not have an advantage over another, it should be rider. We design our course with trails that include single track and an equal mix of the faster open sections as well. We like the natural elevations of the land, so we include uphills and downhills.
Any good trail should have a log to cross.
It is our goal to provide a multi-element course that no rider is 100% master of.
We dont run a carport hare scrambles, aka that one acre loop in your backyard. Rattlesnake is the real deal. You ride good here, your gonna ride good anywhere. Can you tame the Rattlesnake?
